A building with a long story to tell

Today we begin a series of publications where we will tell you the story of an emblematic work that we just delivered at the beginning of the year.

This is the building now known as M Factory located in Marseille (France) that offers a total area of more than 6,000 m² for offices and premium services.

However, this building was not always like this. On June 13, 1911, Étienne Biétron and Aimé Biétron bought land from the Société Immobilière de Marseille to establish, in April 1912, their wholesale cheese business.

The building and the monumental entrance are inscribed on the list of protected isolated heritage elements and is one of the best examples of industrial architecture in Marseille. Known by locals for having served as a refuge for British sailors during the war, the building has now been reborn as an office space in an area in full transformation, dynamic and very attractive.

We will continue explaining more details about this work in future posts.
